Families
Parents, kids and a busy week.
A clear place for recurring chores, the routines that hold a school week together, and adult sign-off where it helps.
In plenty of homes, one person notices what needs doing, remembers when it needs to happen, works out who should do it, and follows up when it does not. That is work too, even when it never appears on anybody's list.
Roost is being built to move that plan into the open. Not to make a home feel like a workplace, and not to keep score for the sake of it. Just to give everyone the same picture of what keeps the place running, and to take the follow-up off the one person who has been carrying it.
When everyone can see what needs doing, whose turn it is, and what is already done, one person no longer has to carry the whole plan in their head.
A useful nudge should come from the plan, not from the person who is already tired of asking. Roost is built to take the tension out of follow-through.
Some chores rotate. Some belong to one person. Some happen every day, and some happen whenever the recycling finally fills up. The system bends around the home, not the other way round.
Shared work feels fairer when it is clear. Roost gives a household one place to understand the load, with no points, no streaks and nothing to win.
The names and the routines change. The need for a clear plan does not.

Roost is being built for iOS and Android. There is no launch date to promise yet, and we would rather say that than invent one.
The waitlist is one address and one message on the day early access opens. No account, no newsletter, no countdown.
If your house runs in a way Roost would get wrong, that is useful to hear before launch. Send a note.
That is the last you will hear from us until launch.
